Meeting the needs of municipal community, in 2004 the Center
launched its monthly e-news project «Information and analysis for
the Russia’s municipalities». Every month, the local governments
receive electronic reports with the analysis of the changes in
legislation, related to local self-government, and practical
recommendations on the implementation of new laws, legal acts, as
well as all subordinate documents regulating the functioning of
local governments, municipal unitary enterprises and
establishments. The project is run in cooperation with the experts
from Moscow State Judicial Academy and Law Academy of the Ministry
of Justice of the Russian Federation.
Publishing projects
The goal of the Center’s publishing projects is to accumulate
and disseminate knowledge, acquired by the Center and its experts
in the field of legal regulation of local self-government in
Russia. One of such projects is a publication in 2003 of the
three-volume collection of case-law on local government issues,
including the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation,
regional constitutional courts, arbitration courts and courts of
general jurisdiction of the Russian Federation.
